Vicky Oakes began her career in the Elections Office in March of 1988, serving as the Assistant Supervisor for 23 years. Vicky was appointed Supervisor of Elections by Gov. Rick Scott in 2011,  and in  2012 she was elected to serve as Supervisor of Elections.She is fully committed to conducting safe, secure and accurate elections for St. Johns County.

Since taking office, she has 
  • Updated technology to meet the needs of voters and provide for safe, secure elections
  • Expanded voter education program
  • Developed volunteer program
  • Initiated a supervised voting program in nursing homes and assisted living facilities

Trainer Patricia Drago was born in Daytona Beach and raised in Florida, Pat Drago graduated from Mainland High School and Attended Eckerd College. She is married to Arnold, with one daughter and three grandchildren who live in Colorado.
​
Pat was a real estate broker salesman in Daytona Beach for eleven years prior serving as Executive Director of Facilities for Volusia county schools for fifteen years. 
She supervised a staff of 335 and oversaw construction of over $700 million in school renovations and new construction.

​Pat has been a member of the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Volusia County since 1980 and a member of the state board for the LWV of Florida since 2010.
